Coronavirus: 23 Members of Iran’s Parliament Have Been Infected

It was confirmed by the deputy leader of Iran’s parliament that 23 members of the parliament have been infected by a coronavirus.

On March 2, 2020, Iran’s Ministry of Health reported that there are 523 more new confirmed cases and 12 new deaths. Not just that, they also reported that 116 more people have recovered, bringing the total number to 291.

It was reported that China has more than 90,000 cases and more than 3000 deaths have to send their experts to help Iran fight against the infection.

The World Health Organization also stated that Iran’s situation was worse and quite concerning. It can be proven with the 23 members of the parliament that was infected  including Mohammad Mirmohammadi, a member of the Expediency Council which advises Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei which died because of coronavirus
