COVID-19: HTAR To Limit Visitors To Reduce Risk

SHAH ALAM, March 12 (Bernama) — The Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) Klang will impose visitor restrictions with immediate effect, following an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

HTAR, in a statement posted on its official Facebook account, said the move was implemented to reduce the risk of infection among patients, visitors and hospital staff.

“Apart from imposing the limit on number of visitors, children under the age of 12 are also prohibited from visiting the hospital.

“The visiting hours will also be shortened from 1 pm to 2 pm and 5 pm to 6.30 pm, on working days including public holidays,” the statement said.

HTAR also clarified that the public will be notified if any changes pertaining to the visitor’s attendance and visiting hours.
