Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today announced an increase in allowance to frontline personnel fighting the COVID-19.
“The government’s priority at the moment is to curb the transmission of COVID-19.
“Our health workers work tirelessly through fatigue and stress, but they keep strong.
“The government has also agreed to extend a special allowance of RM200 a month to military, police, customs, immigration, civil defense, and RELA members directly involved in the PKP.
“Allowances start April 1 until the COVID-19 outbreak ends,” he said.
