The Undertaker Finally Retired After 30 Years Of Wrestling Career

After 30 years of career as a professional wrestler, The Undertaker or real name Mark William Calaway has finally announced his retirement despite have announced his retirement twice before.

The 55-year-old man announced his retirement in a video on his Facebook page and later uploaded a photo thanking fans worldwide with caption #ThankYou.

Known by the title of ‘The Legendary Dead Man’, he began his professional career as a wrestler in 1987 by joining World Champion Class Wrestling (WCCW). In 1989, he joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as a villain and took the nickname Mean Mark.

In October 1990, he began his career in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as a taping Superstar for the character Kane. It was only then that he make his legendary career as The Undertaker.

In the video he also stated, he was ready to return ‘in case of emergency’.

“If Vince was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time would only tell there. In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out The Undertaker,” said Mark.

“I would consider it. At this point in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring. I’m at a point, it’s time this cowboy really rides away,” he said.
