Woman Being Declared Dead Mistakenly, Wakes Up in A Body Bag

A Paraguayan woman had the worst nightmare that everyone can ever think of. Gladys Rodríguez Duarte, 46, woke up in a body bag after a doctor declared that she is dead.

She went to the San Fernando Clinic, in the city of Coronel Oviedo, because high blood pressure was increasing. Arrived at the clinic, the doctor confirmed her death two hours later to her husband Maximino Duarte Ferreira and daughter Sandra Duarte.

At the funeral parlor, the staff realized that the bag which contains her moving, without thinking much, one of the staff quickly open the bag and found out that there is a woman that is still alive in the body bag.

Mr. Duarte said, “Dr. Vera assumed she was dead and handed her naked to me like an animal with her death certificate. He didn’t even revive her.”

“We trusted him, that’s why we went there. But they disconnected her and passed her off to the funeral home” he added.

She then immediately taken to one of Paraguay’s Social Welfare Institute medical facilities and placed under observation. Her current condition has not been made clear.
