Malaysia Airlines Offers 20% Discount For Students, Teachers & Lecturers

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has agreed to offer a 20 percent discount on flight ticket prices for teachers, lecturers and students.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the promotion of a 20 per cent discount for school teachers as well as IPT lecturers from public and private institutes was for domestic travel.

“Booking dates are from July 9 to August 10 for travel dates from July 10 to November 30, 2020.

“Discounts can be obtained through online bookings by entering promo codes which will be announced through the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) or Ministry of Higher Education (KPT),” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri in today press conference.

Furthermore, he added, a 20 percent discount promotion for students is through the MH Explorer program.

“It can be obtained by becoming a member of MH Explorer through the MAS website.

“This student discount will continue to be enjoyed until November 30 or the expiry of membership in accordance with MH Explorer membership requirements,” he said.

According to Ismail, the promotion offered was to help ease the burden on teachers and students to return to their educational institutions soon.
