The stomach of a five-year-old girl in China had to be operated on after she was believed to have swallowed 190 beads while playing.

The doctors were shocked to find that there were beads stuck in the child’s body while doing an X-ray scan.

The mother informed the doctor that her daughter had swallowed 50 magnetic beads, also known as Buckyballs while playing with the toys two months ago.

According to a report from the hospital, despite knowing that their daughter had swallowed the beads, her parents did not care about it because they thought the beads would come out during defecation.

It is said that the child not showing any pain or anything uncomfortable while having the beads in her stomach.

The child was eventually taken to the hospital for examination after her mother watched a video on social media, warning parents about the dangers of children swallowing toy beads, the hospital said.

Once the doctors found that there were beads in the child’s stomach, they proceeded to schedule emergency surgery to remove the beads.
