After Beirut, Massive Blast Occurred At A Food Warehouse In Najaf, Iraq

Three days after the tragedy of a warehouse explosion in Beirut, Lebanon that has caused over 100 deaths, now a food warehouse in Najaf, Iraq has suffered the same fate.

Citing a report by Shafaqna, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter reported that a warehouse storing ‘Al-Quds’ food and electricity supplies in Najaf, southern Iraq, caught on fire recently.

Following the warehouse which is the main sales center in the city, INA reporters informed that a team of firefighters and rescuers had arrived at the scene to put out the fire.

However, the cause of the fire and detailed information have not been officially reported so far.
