“Never Be A Silver Bullet for Coronavirus,” WHO Warns

The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed concern that a vaccine against COVID-19 may not be available. The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that while there is hope for a vaccine against Covid-19, one might never be found.

As of Tuesday (August 4), the COVID-19 epidemic had killed nearly 696,556 people and infected more than 18.4 million people. In an effort to stop the virus from spreading further, Dr. Tedros advised countries to adopt measures such as the use of face masks, social imprisonment, hand washing, and testing.

So far, no vaccine has been found by any researcher even though the number of cases in the world has reached 18,442,382 cases so far.

“Some vaccines are currently in the third phase of clinical trials and we hope to find effective vaccines to help prevent people from getting infected.

“However, at this time, there is no solution and maybe it will not be found.

“There are concerns that there may be no effective vaccine or protection provided will only last for a few months.

“But we will not know, as long as the clinical trial is not completed,” he told a press conference at the WHO headquarters in Geneva.

WHO Emergency Program chief Mike Ryan said countries such as Brazil and India, which have high rates of infection, need to be prepared for major battles and “reorganize” their approach.

“Some countries really need to revisit the way they deal with the pandemic in their countries,” Ryan said.
