Turmeric is the spice that is familiar to Southeast Asian. We usually use turmeric in our cooking. It is also believed that turmeric can have several medical benefits. It is used in a condition involving pain and inflammation. Turmeric can also be used to treat fever, depression, high cholesterol, and itching.

Turmeric contains a yellow-colored chemical called curcumin. Curcumin has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Curcumin too has been used a lot in food coloring and cosmetics as it gives anything that in contact with turmeric to be stained with yellow.

Brilliantly, this woman from Thailand knows the benefits of turmeric and applied it to her cat. The owner, Thammapa Supamas uses turmeric to heal the cat’s fungal infection.

The owner applied the turmeric scrub all over the cat’s body. From the picture that was posted on the owner’s Facebook, she brushed the turmeric using a toothbrush to apply the turmeric thoroughly over the fur.

Luckily, the cat’s infection seems to heal after using turmeric treatment. The owner showed a picture of the cat’s leg which was infected, and the result after the application. It shows a lot of improvement in the cat’s leg.

And most interestingly, the cat’s fur that is originally white turned into fluorescent yellow. It seemed like the innocent cat had just come out of a salon with new interesting fur. The story of this cat had gained much attention from the internet.
