TEMCO Targets Administratively In Kg. Kuala Sanglang And Kg. Tanah Timbul From 10 August to 31 August – Ismail Sabri

Previously, a total of 872 residents in the Sanglang area, Perlis has undergone a COVID-19 epidemic screening following the spread of the PUI Sivagangga cluster in the area. Today, through a live broadcast of a press conference by YB Dato ‘Sri Ismail Sabri announced that the government has decided that two villages in Perlis will be involved in the implementation of TEMCO Targeted Administratively.

According to him, the two villages are Kampung Kuala Sanglang and Kampung Tanah Timbul. The implementation will start from August 10 until August 31, 2020, involving 191 homes.

He added that the implementation of this targeted TEMCO will use the existing SOP instructions, but the roadblock SOP will be slightly different.

“Movement in and out by residents outside the TEMCO area is not allowed at all. However, residents in the TEMCO area are allowed to go out to buy food supplies in the TEMCO area only,” he said.

“All offices and educational institutions will be closed and postponed. Just like houses of worship and surau and mosques will also be closed and not allowed to operate. ”
