Cambodian Man Attacked Girlfriend With Acid And Chopped Her Hand Off After She Wants A Break Up

Cambodia, a man who attacked her girlfriend’s face and chopped her hand off with a meat cleaver has been avoiding police on the run for 18 months now after he brutally attacked his girlfriend when she tried to break up with him.

It said that he attacked his partner with a meat clever and acid because she wanted to split up with him. He then success tracked down by the authorities and sentenced to 14 years behind bars.

Police found him in Cambodia a year and a half after he attacked his ex-girlfriend San Chenda. He then was convicted in his absence for attacking his girlfriend in the commune of Kandoeng in the district of Bati in the southern Cambodian province of Takeo in February 2019.

Pha was arrested in the commune of O’Samril in the north-western province of Battambang on September 5 following an 18-month manhunt. He has now finally begun his sentence in prison.

The victim had lost her left hand following the cruel attack with a meat cleaver. After the attack, Pha then fled after his attack and spent the next 18 months hiding from the police.

Criminal police department chief for the Interior Ministry, Ngeng Chou, said that Pha was taken to the Takeo Provincial Court on Sunday and start to serve his sentence on the day of his arrest.
