(Video) David Blaine Breaks Record Floats Five Miles Above The Earth With Balloon

American illusionist and extreme performer, David Blaine succeeded in doing things that many people might not do it which is flying up into the air using a bunch of helium balloons.

The event was live-streamed on his Youtube channel on Wednesday with the title of  Ascension. In the video, the 47 years old man floated over the Arizona desert by holding onto around 50 helium balloons.

“Every single stunt that I’ve ever done is about endurance and pushing past what I thought would be possible,” said Blaine in the video.

“I can’t imagine that many people would dream of doing it,” he added.

According to CNN, although his goal was reaching an altitude of about 18,000 feet, he ended up floating 24,900 feet before skydiving and parachuting back to the ground.

Interestingly, Ascension has broken the record as the most-watched YouTube Original Live Event with over 770,000 viewers, defeating other most-watched live events on Youtube such as Dear Class of 2020 (665k viewers), The Creator Games Presented by MrBeast (662k viewers).
