An American woman lost her iPhone when she dropped it from over 5,000 feet while paragliding in the French Alps.

The woman dropped her brand new iPhone 11 into Lake Annecy, Haute-Savoie, last week.

The unfortunate incident was seen in a video recorded by his parachute instructor. The video shows the woman letting the phone slide through her fingers from an incredible height.

While paragliding, the woman moves her phone around to shoot a video of herself before it slips through her fingers and fall to the lake below.

The paragliding instructor slid down to look at the phone as it fell as the woman looks helplessly. It is believed that the iPhone was never found again.
