BPN 2.0 Payment To Start On October 26, 2020 ⠀

Malaysian Minister of Finance, Tengku Zafrul Aziz recently issued a media statement on his Twitter page regarding the payment of the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) 2.0.

The BPN 2.0 initiative, a total of RM7.0 billion, will be channeled through two phases of payment. That is in October 2020 and January 2021.

For information, the first phase payment of BPN 2.0 will be channeled to 10.6 million existing BPN recipients from the household category and single individuals in stages starting October 26, 2020 (Monday).

For those who do not have a bank account, payment will be made in cash at the Bank Simpanan Nasional branch from October 26, 2020, to December 31, 2020.

For recipients in rural Sabah and Sarawak who have a bank account will also receive BPN payment in the same period as Peninsular Malaysia.

Meanwhile, for those who do not have a bank account (Sabah and Sarawak), BPN 2.0 will be paid at once starting January 2021 with cash payments made at locations that will be announced later.
