Wedding Ceremonies In Conditional EMCO Areas In Sabah Allowed, But Must Obey SOP – Ismail Sabri

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob informed that weddings in the EMCO area can be continued.

Through a press conference today, he said that the meeting had agreed to allow the wedding to take place after receiving applications from individuals who were in the EMCO area.

“Therefore, the meeting agreed to allow this wedding ceremony to continue and they must comply with each SOP that has been introduced before as an example of social imprisonment, taking the temperature when entering and filling in the name.

“The SOP must be complied with, as well as taking the food either packaged or a buffet is provided but assisted by the waiter to be placed in their respective food plates.

He also said that the government would add rules to ensure there were no SOP violations during the wedding ceremony.

“The meeting also agreed to add a rule that there should be an oversight in terms of compliance with the prescribed SOP,” he said.
