Happy Birthday ‘Pak Lah’, Celebrating His 81st Birthday

Did you all know that November 26 is the date of birth for the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, YABhg Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi?

Today marks the 81st birthday of the former Prime Minister who is also known as ‘Pak Lah’.

Pak Lah’s birthday was also mentioned in a Facebook post by the Minister of Youth and Sports Dato ‘Sri Reezal Merican just now.

“November 26 every year is the birthday of a figure, personality, and statesman whom I have honored, namely YABhg Tun Abdullah Badawi, the 5th Prime Minister,” he said.

“Happy 81st birthday to Ayahanda Tun Abdullah Badawi,” he added.

Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is the fifth former Prime Minister to serve from 2003 to 2009. He is informally known as Pak Lah, Pak meaning ‘Uncle’, while Lah is taken from his name ‘Abdullah’.

Throughout his tenure as Prime Minister of Malaysia, he was also known as the “Father of Human Capital Development”.
