SUKMA Johor Postponed Until 2022

On Twitter, an account under the username @AdamZamri8 has uploaded a tweet about the postponement of the annual Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) sports event.

“SUKMA JOHOR EVENT 2020 AND PARA SUKMA JOHOR 2020 WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2021 AND WILL BE REPLACED IN 2022.

I have chaired the online meeting for Supreme Sports Committee Malaysia to get the latest report about the Sukan Malaysia event XX and Sukan Para SUKMA XX, Johor 2020 from the SUKMA Johor Secretariat 2020.

The meeting was attended by all state behalfs – the involved states are those from the Johor State Government. This meeting was attended by MOM President and MPM President. This meeting is will tell from the series of decisions made by the Supreme Sports Committee Malaysia on 19 September 2020, where another meeting will be held to keep eye on the development status of Sukan Malaysia 2020.

The meeting has talked about the Sukan Malaysia event and Para SUKMA Johor 2020 just now by the SUKMA Johor Secretariat and the Johor Government has asked for the Sukan Malaysia and Para SUKMA Johor 2020 that was scheduled on March and April of 2021 to be delayed again through the reasons below:”
