PUTRAJAYA, Jan 26  — Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali is undergoing self-quarantine at home until Jan 31 after coming into contact with an individual tested positive for COVID-19 on Jan 22.

Following that, the press conference on Emergency Management by him, scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled, but a media statement on the Emergency Management mechanism will be issued.

In a posting on his social media site today, Mohd Zuki said his situation would not interfere with the administration of the civil service.

“I will continue to carry out this trust by working from home for meetings that are scheduled to be chaired or attended by me,” he said.

Mohd Zuki is undergoing home quarantine until Jan 31 based on advice from the Ministry of Health.
