Khairy Jamaluddin Gives Out Laptops In Rembau To Help People In Need

As days pass by during this pandemic COVID-19 situation, more and more politicians have realized how important are laptops for families who can’t afford them to use, especially nowadays where teaching and learning have to go online.

That is why some of them have decided to give out laptops for people in need. This is what has been done by the Former Minister Of Youth And Sports, Khairy Jamaluddin.

Last Saturday, Khairy Jamaluddin or better known as KJ has taken it upon him to help the people in need who live in the Rembau area by giving out laptops through his own Digital Rembau initiative.

KJ wrote in his Facebook posting,

“Today, I had the opportunity to distribute laptops to families that need them the most in Rembau. This aid is part of the Digital Rembau initiative to ensure that students staying at home will be able to continue their studies”.

KJ’s initiative to help the people in need during this hard time certainly gives a breath of fresh air towards people’s perception of politicians nowadays. Hopefully, noble initiatives like this will be an inspiration by our elected officials to help ease the burden of the people during the Movement Control Order (MCO). Other than Khairy Jamaluddin, the Member of Parliament is Syed Saddiq also helped by giving out laptops to the people in Muar.
