GKP Plus Status (PERMAI) Can Be Checked Starting Today, 24th of March 2021

Under the Malaysian Economic and Rakyat’s Protection Assistance Package (PERMAI), the Government has announced the one-off financial assistance of RM1,000 through the Prihatin Special Grant Plus or Geran Khas Prihatin (GKP) to the micro-SMEs in 12 states that got to commence with the MCO in the month of January and February 2021 as well as RM500 to micro SMEs in non-MCO states.

The GKP Plus aims to alleviate the financial burden of businesses following the outbreak of COVID-19 and to increase the productivity of production and services of micro SMEs.

It is pleased to inform you that all micro SMEs that have been approved under GKP 1.0 and GKP 2.0 previously will receive Additional GKP payments from 25th of March 2021 involving financial implications of RM883 million and the status can be checked from the 24th of March 2021.

Payment will be credited directly to the bank account registered in the GKP system and an approval status check can be made from 24 March 2021 on the GKP Portal. Refer to the following steps to check the status of the Additional GKP:

  1. Visit the Official Portal of the Prihatin Special Grant (GKP) at https://gkp.hasil.gov.my.
  2. Log in using the ID (identity card no) and password that has been registered.
  3. Go to the ‘Check Status’ menu.
  4. The approval status of the PERMAI GKP Plus will be displayed along with the payment information as below.
