“Just Because Got Rejected By Woman, Man Sets Motorcycles On Fire” – IPD Pulau Pinang

Recently, one of the most shocking incidents that happened has received a lot of attention from many netizens in Malaysia. The particular incident is about a particular man located in Penang who has set several motorcycles on fire just because his love got rejected by a woman. The incident is said to be happened on the 28th of March 2021 specifically at Jalan Macallum in George Town, Penang.

Timur Laut district police chief that is ACP Soffian Santong has stated that the 68-year-old suspect has been detained at his own house in Lebuh Cecil around 1 am on the 30th of March 2021.

According to the Facebook post, “Preliminary investigations found that the suspect acted in such a way because he was dissatisfied with a foreign woman because his love was not reciprocated. The case is being investigated under Section 435 of the Penal Code”.

The particular suspect got remanded for a day but has been released on police bail. The Timur Laut police headquarter urges members of the public with any information regarding the case to reach out to authorities at +604-2181844.
