‘Spencer’ is an upcoming movie about the three days in the life of Lady Diana starring Kristen Stewart as the late princess.
Released photos from the set show Stewart bearing an uncanny resemblance to the late Princess Diana. The photos show the 30-year-old actress pulling off the iconic shaggy blonde hairstyle.
Kristen donned a red and green plaid blazer and sunglasses reminiscent of an outfit Diana wore in January 1989. She also wore a velvet skirt and black tights with Stewart’s personal touch of Adidas sneakers.
It is possible that this is her choice of footwear in-between takes. Stewart despises heel, a reminder of when she removed her Louboutins and walked barefoot on the red carpet of 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
“The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular,” the actress noted. “I’m working on it now and already have my dialect coach.”
She also told about the extensive research on the princess to do her role justice. Stewart has been playing roles in an independent movies since Twilight. It is only recently she decided to take on a more commercial role. Some are not confident about the actress playing the role of such an iconic figure. But the director Pablo Larraín has faith in his choice.
