Just For A Selfie, Two Women Take The Risk of Jumping On The 400ft Cliff Edge

Two women were willing to take a dangerous risk after jumping off the edge of a 400ft (122 meters) high cliff just to take a selfie.

The two were seen jumping into the air to get a photoshoot at Birling Gap near Eastbourne, East Sussex in England.

East Sussex Council issued a warning last week as the limestone cliffs came to the fore after being made the preferred location for public photos. Choices had to be taken to urge visitors to stay away from the unstable edge of the cliffs due to coastal erosion.

Not only that, but the coast guard also issued a new warning about the dangers of standing or walking near the cliffs after the public was seen posing for selfies near the location.

Safety advice was also issued, warning visitors not to be close to the verge of Birling Gap.

According to reports, there have been 50 incidents of falling from cliffs along the East Sussex coast over a year ago.

Despite being warned, visitors are still seen at the location especially in sunny and warm weather, as temperatures peaked at 18C in parts of the country.
