Her determination causing her to break a world record. Now, at 18 years old she is the holder of the Guinness World Record for longest hair with 200cm.

“My hair gave me a lot – because of my hair I am known as the ‘real-life Rapunzel’, now it’s time to give back,” she said. Her locks will be donated to a museum of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, California. Her mother, Kaminiben also pledged to donate her own hair to cancer patients.

The bundle of hair gathered together into a bunch and then shipped, weighing 266 g.

I feel proud that I’m going to send my hair to the US museum- people will see and be inspired by my hair. I’m really, really happy… Today is a new beginning and I hope I will break many more records in the future.”
