(Video) Senior Citizen Proposed To A Mother But Married To Her 19-Year-Old Daughter

Recently, there has been a shocking news that went viral in Indonesia. The particular news is about a senior citizen named Bora who is 58 year old. The picture of his wedding to his wife who is a 19 year old named Ira Fazilah has went viral all over social media in Indonesia. According to the news, the wedding that took place in Sulawesi has become the talk of many netizens after the story behind the wedding reveals.

The senior citizen was initially said wanted to propose to the mother, but his proposal was rejected and the mother offered her daughter to be the particular man’s wife. Agreeing to the plan, the couple then held their wedding ceremony on 7th of April with the men giving a dowry of Rp 1 million equivalent to RM283 and a piece of land measuring 1 hectare.

According to Indonesian media reports, Bora had never been married before and had spent his own bachelorhood wandering around to earn a living. Meanwhile, Ira Fazilah is an orphan and the eldest of 3 siblings. She also came from a difficult family because her parents were divorced and only raised by her mother who worked as a farmer.

The marriage also has no element of forced marriage but it is on the basis of mutual love given the close relationship that the family has with the senior citizens involved.
