‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Finally Revealed A Photo of A New Feathered Dinosaur

Jurassic World: Dominion is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow. It is actually the sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom from 2018, the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, and also the third film in the Jurassic World trilogy. In the movie of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, many fans are bummed as the series’ raptors are missing their feathers and it has been the subject of heated debate.

Recently, a particular new photo from Jurassic World: Dominion has revealed a first look at the new feathered dinosaur from the film. This has ended the heated “feathers” debate from the previous films. The photo features a small, feathered dinosaur standing upright on two legs with two tiny arms extending from its torso. The landscape behind the dinosaur is littered with trees and hills, which suggests that this particular creature has not been released into civilization.

Along with the photo, Universal Pictures also released a new poster for Jurassic World: Dominion that features the tagline “It all started here” and a mosquito drinking blood from the hide of a dinosaur. The photo of the feathered dinosaur, along with the new poster tagline, maybe hinting at things to come in the new film.

Jurassic World: Dominion was initially scheduled to be released earlier before the pandemic shuttered theaters and delayed production last year. Filming wrapped in late 2020 and Trevorrow says he’s currently working on the visual effects and sound mix. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, he says returning to the franchise after 2015’s Jurassic World has been a thrill with a few challenges.
