Universal Studios Japan To Open ‘Demon Slayer’ Themed Attraction

A new attraction based on the popular Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series will open on September 17 for a limited time at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. The attraction will run until February 13, 2022, with themed food and merchandise also going on sale during the opening months.

Visitors can ‘experience the fluid swordsmanship, and even the breathing, of the hero Tanjiro Kamado and his fellow demon killers amidst the fierce battles that take place right before their eyes,’ the park official website wrote.

According to The Japan Times, fans will also be able to see the characters introduce the attraction section on the park’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts from July 1st.

Universal Studios Japan, which has only opened on weekdays for the past two months due to the COVID-19 emergency, started business on weekends and holidays on Saturday (June 26).

But visitors remained at the 5,000 level throughout the day as a measure to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
