1) STPM

STPM allows you to pursue a wide range of degree courses upon successful completion. You can also use your STPM results to apply for degrees locally at both public and also private universities. You can also apply for universities abroad, provided that they recognize STPM, which is usually the case for a number of institutions.

2) TVET (Technical Vocational Education Training)

The TVET in most of the developing countries is expected to play two crucial roles in the national sustainable development of social, economical, and also environmental aspects. The first role is to provide training opportunities and career advancement avenues for the increased school leavers.

3) Diploma

Unlike pre-university programs that focus more on rigorous academic study, diploma programs are designed to equip students with the necessary skills required to meet the job requirements in a particular industry.

4) Matriculation

Matriculation is one of the preferred choices for students who are eyeing coveted spots at public universities, as it is an extremely cost-effective route. It is a 2 to a 4-semester pre-university course that allows you to pursue a degree upon successful completion. Normally, students who opt for matriculation will go on to pursue their degree with local public institutions.

5) Foundation

Foundation courses are meant to help students progress from SPM to a degree program. It also allows you to get a foot into your university of choice. Each foundation course consists of core and elective subjects, which prepare you for university while allowing you to explore different interests.
