(Video) Make Malaysia Proud, Tuan Ibrahim Speaks Malay On The UN Stage

Since yesterday, a particular video has gone viral all over social media showing Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man that is the Minister of Environment and Water speaking at an international conference. The 26th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP-26) actually held in Glasgow, Scotland.

What really attract the attention of all Malaysians was when Tuan Ibrahim spoke in Malay right in front of ministers from around the world. It is indeed very rare for us to see leaders from Malaysia be using the Malay language when speaking on the international stage. There are only a few countries there that would use their own national language.

Because of that, this is one thing to be proud of. Maybe there will be ignorant people who claim that Tuan Ibrahim is not good at English. For us, that is not the issue because every global conference will have a language translator.

Tuan Ibrahim delivered a three-minute speech with a smart appearance and wearing a black ‘songkok’. Other than that, Tuan Ibrahim’s appearance at COP26 also refuted allegations by some parties that he did not attend the event.
