Shipping Lane In Azov Sea Is Being Shut Down By Russia

The situation becomes worse as Russia has suspended the development of commercial vessels within the Azov Sea until further notes would be announced. Russian powers attacked Ukraine with strikes on major cities and that has caused so much damage. Russia, the world’s biggest wheat exporter, basically ships its grain from ports within the Black Sea. The Azov Sea is actually home to shallow water ports of little capacity where all the activities would occur.

For those who might not know, Ukraine and also Russia both have ports on the Azov Sea. It would indeed include Ukraine’s major harbor of Mariupol, whereas Russia controls the sea’s mouth at the Kerch Strait. Both have powers.

The Sea of Azov could be a sea in Eastern Europe associated with the Black Sea by the contract Strait of Kerch, and is in some cases has been respected as a northern expansion of the Black Ocean. The ocean is bounded within the northwest by Ukraine, and the southeast by Russia. The Don and Kuban are the major waterways that stream there.
