EPF Special Withdrawal, Some Simple Explanation To Know

The EPF Special Withdrawal has been the main focus for many people recently. Due to that issue, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has provided some brief information about it to contributors. Here is what to know about it.

The public needs to check a few important things first in order to launch the application process. First and foremost, this special withdrawal is open to all EPF members under 55 years of age. Other than that, the minimum withdrawal amount for this special withdrawal is RM50. The total amount can go up to RM10,000. Think wisely before doing it.

This is very important to know, the total saving in the account should be at least RM150. Next, the withdrawal would be in a single payment starting from the 20th of April 2022. Unfortunately, it is not allowed for cancellation of the application or even changing the amount.

The highest priority is for this special withdrawal payment. The other types of payments would be right after that.

Do This To Ease The Process Of Special Withdrawal Payment

  1. Register the latest phone number with EPF.
  2. Check out the balance for EPF savings.
  3. The bank account number is active.
  4. Account in the member’s own name.
