To those who might not know, the cause of floods in Pakistan is the continuous monsoon rains and also the melting of glaciers. That all indeed happened in the northern mountain regions of Pakistan. It has put a third of the country’s land under water.

This sad incident has devastatingly taken the lives of more than 1,500 people. In addition to that, there is an estimation of 33 million other people who were victims of the flood. Other impacts are washing away homes, railways, crops, roads, and livestock.

As stated on the Images website, “The Committee’s latest assessment reveals that people are in urgent need of food, clean drinking water, shelter, and healthcare”. There are all the important things needed by the victims in Pakistan for the time being.
