Lewis Capaldi Has Tourette’s Syndrome, Decided To Reveal It To Public

Lewis Capaldi has recently revealed something closely personal to him. He revealed to The Sun website saying that he has been diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome. Right now, he is learning the best way possible to live with the twitches. All the best to him.

He added that he has decided to reveal his condition to the public because he does not want people to think he was taking cocaine. That is surely very unfortunate for people to think about it that way. Hopefully, the announcement made the public understand.

Besides that, he also revealed that he is some sort of relieved when knowing that he has the condition. If not, he feared that he might be suffering from a degenerative disease. That would be something that is much more worrying for him and also the others.

As stated on the DailyMail website, Lewis Capaldi is treated with Botox injections. This is to freeze the muscle and control the tics characteristic of Tourette’s syndrome. He then also added, “My shoulder twitches when I am excited, happy, nervous or stressed”.

All of these symptoms that he has to withstand sometimes make him ‘painful’ and also ‘uncomfortable’. Let us pray for his health.
