Korean Streamer Helped Saved More Than 10 People During Itaewon Incident

Up to this day, it is heartbreaking to see or listen to the news of the Itaewon crowd’s crush on Halloween. The event that should be enjoyable turned out to be a tragedy. People all over the world sympathize with the unexpected incident. The country lost hundreds of its people and many foreigners. Thus, South Korea is in mourning until the 5th of November.

As reported by Koreaboo, a man working as a Broadcast Jockey (BJ) is praised by many as he helped others during the incident. The BJ, known as Vegeta, was also in calamity. However, his affliction did not stop him from saving ten other people from losing their lives.

Vegeta was at Itaewon to live-stream the event. He was at the Hamilton Valley when the rush happened. He got lucky to be able to escape the scene after fighting for his life. The BJ mentioned that he could not have done it alone. Many people there helped him.

He repaid the people’s good deeds by trying to rescue others. A witness saw Vegeta leaning against the railing and pulled out those at the bottom.

It is not the first time Vegeta has helped people. Before, in August, he came to the rescue during Seoul’s heavy flooding. Besides that, people said that he was once a kindergarten teacher, and that explains why he has a benevolent heart.

Aside from Vegeta, I believe that many other people have tried their best to rescue others. Their courage and unselfishness deserve to be remembered and appreciated.
