Who doesn’t love McDonald’s? It’s easy to purchase, and McD outlets are also everywhere. They sprout like mushrooms after the rain. Do you notice? In every area, there would be one McD franchise. It’s a must, almost like a necessity. This proves that McDonald’s is the go-to fast food joint most people in the world would pick.
And when they introduced the delivery app, ordering got simpler than it already is. You wouldn’t have to line up or breeze the drive-thru. With the help of your smartphone, you can order your desired meal and get them delivered to your house in minutes!
Another plus point for delivery apps is you can customise your order to your liking. For example, you can choose to remove the onions or pickles. Not only that, but you can also ask for more! (This comes with an additional charge. Do keep that in mind.)
But what happens when you get too out-of-the-box and order something that is supposed to be impossible?

Rob ordered a Nothing Burger from McD
Okay, this might sound absurd. You might be in disbelief or possibly sceptical about this. But it’s true, and it has happened. Rob bought a nothing burger from McDonald’s!
Funnily, he received a notification from DoorDash that read, “Restaurant is confused as to what you want on your order.”
Maybe Rob was confused, too, when he placed the order…
What is in the Nothing Burger?
Rob paid $1.89 (RM 8.37) for a burger without mustard, ketchup, diced onions, pickle, American cheese, meat, regular bun and salt.
When you look at the list of exclusions, you will think, aren’t those what makes McD’s cheeseburger a cheeseburger? So, what’s the point of Rob ordering a burger without anything?
Exactly, that’s what he intended!
In his first tweet, Rob wondered if they would cancel his order and deliver an empty bag. He added, “I am doing this, so you don’t have to.”
McD gave him literally nothing
When Rob received his order, he did an unboxing. What came in the package was a wrapper with stitches. Well, that isn’t a burger, for sure.
But Rob actually tipped his DoorDash driver $6 (RM 26.57) for the nonsensical order. Rob paid $15 (RM 66.41) for the nothing burger (price included the delivery fees).
At the end of his thread, he jokingly tweeted, “I also literally saved a cow’s life by ordering a McNothing instead of a burger.”
We wonder what this nothing burger tastes like. Is it as good as the famous cheeseburger?
