Radium Development Berhad Hosts Spectacular Chinese New Year Open House At Desa East Residences Sales Gallery

Radium Development Berhad (Radium) celebrated the festive spirit of Chinese New Year with a vibrant open house event held at the Desa East Residences sales gallery on Saturday, 24 February 2024. The event was attended by approximately 100 guests, marking a joyous gathering of community members and prospective homeowners.

The open house featured an array of traditional and entertaining activities, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Lunar New Year. Attendees were treated to captivating performances including a twin lion dance, accompanied by the rhythmic crackle of firecrackers. A delightful dragon mascot added to the festive ambiance, engaging guests with cheerful walkabouts. The God of Prosperity also made a special appearance, spreading blessings and good fortune among the attendees.

The festivities included the lively Lou Sang ceremony for wishes of prosperity and good will.

Guests had the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, including Chinese knot-making and DIY traditional basket frame making. Creative spirits soared as visitors indulged in crafting their own paper dragon heads, adding a personalised touch to the celebration. A dedicated photo booth with festive backdrops also provided the perfect opportunity for capturing cherished memories.

Adding to the festivities, attendees joined in the traditional Lou Sang ceremony, symbolising the auspicious tossing of prosperity and good luck. Delectable Chinese New Year delicacies and beverages were served, tantalising taste buds and delighting the senses. Guests were also treated to exclusive Chinese New Year goody bags, filled with tokens of appreciation and well wishes from Radium.

Radium’s Chinese New Year celebrations at Desa East Residences featured a twin dragon dance performance and walkabouts by the God of Prosperity and a dragon mascot.

Since their launches in May and June 2023, Vista Adesa and Radium Adesa have achieved a take-up rate of nearly 60 percent and 78 percent respectively, representing the families choosing to make Desa East Residences their home, further solidifying the growth of the Radium community.

The Chinese New Year open house comes on the heels of a successful fiscal year ending 2023 for Radium. The Group recently reported robust financial performance with revenue reaching RM128.26 million for FYE2023. Accompanied by a Profit After Tax (PAT) of RM18.22 million, Radium maintains a strong financial position, supported by a low gross gearing ratio of 0.05 times.
