KLWC’s Raya Open House Celebration With 5 Orphanage Homes

KL Wellness City (KLWC) hosted its eagerly awaited Raya Open House on the 18 April 2024, following a significant Raya Campaign  launch event on 14 March, 2024. The dynamic Open House was brimming with joyful festivities and heartfelt connections.

The Raya Open House celebration commenced with a “Pantun” recited by Dato’Sri Vincent Tiew as below:

Ramadan berlalu Syawal mengganti

Semoga bertemu di tahun hadapan 

Selamat datang hadirin ke Galeri kami

Hari Raya Aidilfitri bersama diraikan

Kelongsong ketupat beras diisi

Direbus empuk di malam lembaran 

Setulus hati kami di KLWC

Menyusun jari mohon kemaafan.

Guests attended the Raya Open House was treated to an array of exciting activities and entertainment. Highlights of the event include live performances by the talented 3pcs Busker Band, providing a lively and engaging atmosphere for all attendees. Guests also have the opportunity to savor a variety of traditional local snacks delicacies at several live food stations, as well as enjoy all-day-long food buffet offerings.

KL Wellness City values its relationship with the ministry and is committed to complementary Tourism Malaysia’s mission to promote Malaysia as a premier tourist destination. KL Wellness City’s mission is in line with Tourism Malaysia’s efforts in promoting Medical Tourism, and we aspire to collaborate closely with the ministry to showcase Malaysia’s excellence in healthcare and wellness services to visitors from around the world.

Another Guest of Honour who graced the Open House was Dr. Mohamed Ali Abu Bakar, CEO of the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council.Dr. Mohamed Ali Abu Bakar’s presence not only lends prestige to our celebration but also signifies the importance of healthcare and wellness in our community.” We are excited to have Dr.Mohamed Ali Abu Bakar to support this event and learn more about our township’s commitment to promoting medical tourism and enhancing healthcare services for both local residents and international visitors.” said Dato’Sri Vincent Tiew,  The Branding, Sales & Marketing Director.

Additionally, guests had the chance to celebrate alongside invited guests, including KOLs, and influencers who are renowned for their influence and expertise in various fields. Attendees had the chance to participate in photo sessions with their idols, creating cherished memories and capturing unforgettable moments.Whether the conversation revolved around fashion, lifestyle, cuisine, or cultural heritage, these influential figures captivated guests with their captivating stories and unique perspectives.

Adding to the festive ambiance, attendees had the chance to capture memorable moments at the exclusive Instagrammable backdrop featuring a Malay decor, “Rumah Panggung”. This picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for sharing the joy of the festivities with friends and family on social media.

In keeping with the spirit of the festive season’s generosity and “Kembali Ke Nostalgia” campaign, KL Wellness City presented “duit raya” to more than 100 children from these 5 homes including:

  1. Shelter Home For Children,
  2. Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association, KL & SEL,
  3. Pusat Jagaan Penyayang Nur Iman KL ,
  4. Ti-Ratana Welfare Society and
  5. Yayasan Sunbeams Home

In addition, each orphanage home, received RM2,000 in contributions, totalling RM10,000. These collaborative efforts reflects KL Wellness City’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need and spreading joy during this festive season.

In addition to the festivities, guests will have the chance to participate in the Duit Raya Lucky Draw till 30th April 2024, offering the opportunity to win cash rebate vouchers and special free gifts! Members of the media, influencers, and community leaders were invited to attend and cover the event. The Raya Open House celebration attended by more than 300 pax; provided excellent opportunities for interviews, photo opportunities, and a firsthand experience of the festivities.
