REDLINE Fitness Games Powered by NISSAN and Rakan Muda Forge Dynamic Partnership to Elevate the Nation’s Fitness in 2024

In a compelling showcase of collaboration, REDLINE Fitness Games Powered by NISSAN has partnered with Rakan Muda — an initiative under the Ministry of Youth and Sports — to drive Malaysians towards a healthier and more active lifestyle. This partnership was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports during this year’s Hari Belia Negara. The collaboration underscores the commitment of all the organisations to fostering a robust youth community and encouraging active lifestyles.

At the launch of their partnership during Hari Belia Negara, REDLINE and Rakan Muda introduced a series of interactive fitness competitions and motivational sessions led by prominent fitness experts. These activities aimed to inspire young attendees to embrace more active lifestyles, and served as the foundation for ongoing initiatives to make fitness and well-being accessible to all youths, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.

“Partnering with Rakan Muda marks a significant step forward for this year’s REDLINE Fitness Games,” said Mr Callum Meehan, Events Director of REDLINE. “Their involvement has been essential in enriching our programme, allowing us to better connect and inspire Malaysia’s youth. This partnership mirrors our joint dedication to health and fitness, which is crucial for building a strong, active community.”

Building on the momentum of these initiatives, NISSAN has also announced a thrilling update for its main event in July: the NISSAN Navara Pickup Truck prize car, follows a successful social media campaign that achieved a milestone of over  1,000 shares in just seven days. Being the favourite from last year’s event, the prize aims to motivate continued training and enhance fitness among Malaysians, with one lucky participant set to win this July.

“At NISSAN, we hold steadfast to the commitment of providing more than a mere mode of transportation. We are dedicated to crafting experiences that not only transport you physically but elevate your journey, and this is perfectly shown through our participation in Hari Belia Negara together with REDLINE. The event embodies the very essence of NISSAN and we hope to empower the youths to push their limits and discover new excitement,” said Tiffany Tan, General Manager of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Bhd.

REDLINE and NISSAN have also teamed up with Sokong to support Yayasan Chow Kit, a 24-hour crisis and drop-in centre for at-risk children and teenagers, as part of a significant initiative to foster societal change and promote youth fitness. This alliance focuses on enhancing the well-being of the community’s youth. REDLINE will continue this initiative at the main event on 13 – 14 July 2024, showcasing their ongoing commitment to making a positive impact.

REDLINE Fitness Games Powered by NISSAN is forecast to be the largest fitness competition in South East Asia’s history, providing an exciting opportunity for gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts across the region.
