Lapisan Pâtisserie Introduces A Unique Blend of Malaysian Heritage & French Artistry to Malaysia

Lapisan Pâtisserie (Lapisan) is excited to announce the grand launch of its first outlet in Malaysia, at Mid Valley Megamall. This launch heralds the arrival of a traditional French concept with a fresh take on Malaysian tradition.

At Lapisan, each pastry and petit cake is exquisitely crafted, combining the best French methods with bold and unique indigenous tastes that honour Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage. From the first bite to the last morsel, diners can expect to be enchanted by the delicate textures, balanced flavours, and beautiful presentation that distinguish the Lapisan experience.

“We are thrilled to bring Lapisan Pâtisserie to Mid Valley Megamall, where every layer of our pastries tells a story of heritage meeting creativity. Our aim is to offer customers more than just pastry, but an unforgettable culinary experience that delights on a sensory and emotional level,” said Patrick Sim, Managing Director at Lapisan Pâtisserie.

Lapisan’s debut at Centre Court, Lower Ground Floor of Mid Valley Megamall is an important milestone in Lapisan’s journey. It is a stepping stone for the brand in bringing world-class French patisserie to a wider Malaysian audience, while preserving the flavours and ingredients that makes Malaysian food a beloved favourite the world over. The menu includes a variety of sweet and savoury options, ranging from classic French pastries to creative inventions that combine local ingredients with traditional French techniques.

A must-try is the Honey Toast, Lapisan’s signature baked milk bread coated with a tantalising symphony of honey, butter and coarse sugar, crescendoed with a caramel glaze. It is golden and crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside, making for a truly tantalising experience. Alternatively, sink your teeth into the Strawberry Maritozzo, a sweet bun crafted with chantilly mascarpone and adorned with fresh strawberries.

Croissant aficionados will be glad to know that all of Lapisan’s croissants are baked to perfection, featuring flaky golden layers, enveloping you in buttery delight in every bite. The Sarawak Pepper Chicken Croissant is a crowd favourite, filled with black pepper chicken, black sesame seeds, and black pepper mayonnaise. The Peach Delight Danish is sure to have sweet tooth lovers sighing with every mouthful. Made with croissant dough, the danish is filled with almond cream, and topped with juicy halved peach.

Where the timeless artistry of French pastry traditions harmoniously blends with the vibrant flavours of Malaysia, Lapisan Pâtisserie welcomes everyone to enjoy the art of pastry like never before, with each pastry celebrating history, creativity, and cultural harmony.
