The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Celebrates Ramadan With Traditional Flavours And Special Offers

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) welcomes guests to embrace the spirit of Ramadan through its signature ‘Tradisi Semarak Rasa’ offerings. This extraordinary dining experience features a meticulously curated menu of authentic Malaysian dishes, complemented by attractive early bird and senior citizen discounts, all delivered with the Centre’s renowned world-class service.

This public buka puasa experience presents an exceptional feast blending traditional and contemporary cuisine. Culinary highlights include telur sotong goreng mamak, ayam salai nangka muda, masak lemak cili padi, stir-fried chilli garlic prawn, and sayur goreng bersama ikan masin. Guests can also indulge in the iconic onde-onde gula Melaka cake and refreshing beverages such as teh tarik and Sirap Bandung. Supporting agriculture, the Centre sources 70% from Malaysian farmers, ensuring the finest quality and freshest flavours.

“This year’s menu is a celebration of Malaysia’s culinary heritage, thoughtfully reimagined with a modern twist to create a dining experience that is both nostalgic and innovative,” said Chef Hisham Bin Jaafar, the Centre’s Executive Chef.

“We’ve also incorporated healthier options to cater to evolving preferences, making it possible to indulge while maintaining balance. Our Muslim guests can enjoy this experience with complete peace of mind, knowing that our kitchens are fully halal certified by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia. We’re excited to bring people together through food that not only delights the palate but also supports the community and promotes sustainable practices.”

The public buka puasa will be hosted on Level 4 from 8 March to 26 March 2025, priced at RM205 nett per person. Early bird bookings between 15 January and 13 March 2025 enjoy a special rate of RM185 nett per person. Senior citizens aged 55 and above and children aged 5 to 12 years receive a 50% discount, while children under 4 dine complimentary. With evening capacity limited to 250 guests, reservations are essential.
