Marrybrown Announced Nationwide Expansion Following Brand Award Win

Marrybrown, Malaysia’s largest homegrown Halal Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain, recently announced plans to open 40 new outlets across Malaysia in 2025, following its Silver award win at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2024. The expansion will focus on key regions including Klang Valley, Northern Malaysia, East Coast, and East Malaysia.

The expansion follows Marrybrown’s silver award win in the Restaurant & Fast Food Outlets category at the prestigious Putra Aria Brand Awards, which recognises exceptional branding achievements across various industries. The awards, established by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As), evaluate brands based on consumer engagement, market growth, and business performance.

“This significant expansion reflects our strong commitment to growth and accessibility,” said Daniel Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Marrybrown.

“We’re not just opening restaurants – we’re bringing our authentic Malaysian flavours and ‘something different’ to more communities nationwide. Our silver award win validates our position as a leading homegrown brand that successfully competes with global QSR giants.”

The new outlets will showcase Marrybrown’s signature Malaysian-inspired menu items while introducing innovative dishes that celebrate local flavours. The expansion strategy focuses on bringing the brand’s unique dining experience to vibrant community hubs and popular tourist destinations, making authentic Malaysian flavours more accessible to both locals and visitors.

“Our success is deeply rooted in our Malaysian heritage,” Daniel Chan added.

“As we expand our presence, we remain committed to our ‘Memang Best’ promise and delivering something different through quality food and memorable dining experiences to more Malaysians across the country.”
