Sacoor Brothers Reaffirms Cultural Commitment as Official Sponsor of Buvazoi Tavantang Kaamatan 2025

Sacoor Brothers proudly returns as the official fashion sponsor of Buvazoi Tavantang Kaamatan 2025, Malaysia’s premier male cultural pageant that celebrates the identity, tradition, and talents of the Kadazandusun community. First launched in 2008, the pageant continues to be a powerful platform for cultural preservation and creative expression, placing Sabahan heritage firmly in the national spotlight.

Returning for the second time as a sponsor, Sacoor Brothers deepens its commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that align with its core values of craftsmanship, community, and heritage.

The pageant’s public showcase took place on 25 May at Imago Shopping Mall, Kota Kinabalu, where all 49 finalists were introduced in full Sacoor Brothers ensembles. Donning a mix of sleek formalwear and polished casual looks, the contestants proved how effortlessly contemporary fashion can complement cultural identity.

The evening segment, titled “A Night of Cultural Fashion,” brought an elegant fusion of modern tailoring and tradition. Finalists walked the runway in custom-made traditional attire, celebrating the diversity of Sabah’s ethnic heritage. Awards were presented to recognize standout talents, including:

  • Best Catwalk : Fame Lim (Pulau Pinang)

  • Best Model: Arthuric Gideon (Karambunai)

  • Both winners received RM3,000 worth of cash vouchers from Sacoor Brothers.

The Grand Finals of Buvazoi Tavantang Kaamatan 2025 will take place on 29 May at KDCA, where the ultimate winner will also be awarded RM3,000 in Sacoor Brothers cash vouchers.

Sacoor Brothers first partnered with Buvazoi Tavantang in 2024, marking the first time an international fashion house supported the cultural pageant. This year, the continued collaboration underscores the brand’s belief in celebrating identity and championing local communities.

By blending modern sophistication with traditional pride, Sacoor Brothers and Buvazoi Tavantang are not just dressing the next generation of cultural ambassadors, they’re empowering them to carry heritage forward with style and confidence.
