From Shots to Prizes, Enter Huawei XMAGE Awards 2025 & Win Exclusive Rewards

The HUAWEI XMAGE Awards returns for its eighth year, inviting residents of Malaysia to showcase their creativity and storytelling skills by taking part in the prestigious mobile photography contest. Exclusively open to HUAWEI smartphone users, this global competition celebrates the power of visual expression by blending artistic vision with mobile ingenuity. Carrying the theme The Power of Image for 2025, the Awards highlight how photography can transcend words and boundaries to tell stories that inspire and connect people across the world.

This year’s competition features a blend of familiar categories and exciting new themes, offering photographers fresh opportunities to share their vision. The categories include So Far So Close, Good Night, and Colour & Shade, alongside returning favourites such as Faces, A Heartwarming World, Experimental Lab, Storyboard, and Action. Each category encourages a distinct style, from capturing subtle emotional moments to crafting photo narratives or exploring experimental visuals.

Similar to the previous years, Huawei is giving away USD 10,000 creation fund for each of the three Grand Prize winners and USD 1,500 for each of the remaining ninety‑seven in the XMAGE Top 100. All winners will receive electronic certificates, and their works will be showcased on global platforms and exhibitions curated by Huawei.

In addition to the global prizes, Huawei Malaysia has introduced exclusive rewards for XMAGE Awards Malaysia 2025: The Power of Image:
