Garmin fēnix 8 MicroLED: The Brightest, Boldest Smartwatch Yet

Garmin is once again pushing boundaries with the launch of the fēnix 8 MicroLED, the latest in its iconic GPS smartwatch series.

What makes it stand out?

  • World’s first MicroLED display in a smartwatch, ultra-bright at 4,500 nits.
  • Richer colors, 6x higher contrast, and crystal-clear even under direct sunlight.
  • More durable with triple the toughness and burn-in resistance.

“The fēnix 8 isn’t just a smartwatch, it’s a tool that helps users push their limits with more powerful, reliable, and intuitive features,” said Scoppen Lin, Assistant GM of Garmin Asia.

The fēnix Evolution – From Solar to MicroLED

The fēnix series has always been a pioneer:

  • fēnix 6 (2020) — world’s first solar-powered smartwatch.
  • fēnix 7 (2022) — introduced multi-band GNSS + built-in LED flashlight.
  • fēnix 8 (2025) — revolutionized with MicroLED display.

Built for Every Adventure

Beyond the game-changing screen, the fēnix 8 is packed with tools for performance and the outdoors:

  • Endurance score & hill score for tough training.
  • TopoActive Maps + dynamic round-trip routing.
  • ECG App, sleep coach, Garmin Pay, safety tracking and more.

The fēnix 8 MicroLED will be available from October 2025, priced at RM8,479 on Garmin’s e-store, Shopee, Lazada, AECO e-store, Garmin Brand Stores and authorized retailers.
