Nights of Fright 11 Is Here: Fear the Night, Feel the Fright

Malaysia’s biggest Halloween festival, Nights of Fright®, is back at Sunway Lagoon for its 11th year, promising more screams, more scares, and more nightmares than ever before. Running every Fri–Sun from Sept 26 to Nov 2, the festival is headlined by this year’s icon, The Puppetmaker, pulling the strings on Malaysia’s ultimate fright night.

What started in 2013 has now terrified over 1 million visitors, making it the longest-running and largest Halloween fest in Southeast Asia. This year’s edition levels up with 7 new haunted attractions, plus returning fan-faves, blending Malaysian folklore with Hollywood horror for a fresh, scream-worthy experience.

What’s New in NOF11

  • 8 Haunted Houses – including The Puppetmaker, The Blind Box (world’s first life-sized haunted blind box!), Karak: Kampong Killers, and Horrorwood Studios.

  • 1 Haunted Theatre – Scary Tales Theater starring local celeb Nadia Brian as the terrifying PontianAxe.

  • 3 Scare Zones – Hantu Hell, Pontianak X Pocong, and Horrorwood Boulevard.

  • 11 Thrill Rides + 3 Live Stages – non-stop frights meet carnival fun.

  • Pop-ups & Collabs – creepy escape room with Libresse, sinister rituals with Poh Kong, and eerie toy-inspired moments with Pop Mart.
