Malaysia’s Superdough Just Leveled Up and It’s Taking Texas by Storm

From KL escape rooms to U.S. classrooms, Malaysia’s very own Superdough is going global in style.

The homegrown entertainment pioneer behind Breakout, Hauntu, and Spy Game just opened its latest U.S. outlet under the NOVUS brand in Forney, Texas, marking another major win for Malaysian creativity on the world stage.

What started as a single mission, “Always Fun Experiences” has now turned into a global export of storytelling and innovation, with Superdough outlets already running across Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

“This expansion proves that Malaysian creativity can resonate globally,” said Johnny Ong, CEO of Superdough. “We’re proud to show the world that Malaysia isn’t just a consumer of entertainment, we create it.”

Education Meets Entertainment

Here’s where it gets interesting: this isn’t your typical franchise launch. The new Texas outlet, spanning 6,200 sq ft and featuring six immersive escape rooms (from Wonderland to Section 13), is part of a groundbreaking partnership with Forney Independent School District (ISD).

Students there don’t just learn in classrooms, they run the Breakout outlet. From marketing and customer service to managing real-world operations, it’s a “living classroom” designed to teach leadership, entrepreneurship, and business skills through play.

What’s Next for Superdough

In just a decade, Superdough has evolved into a global entertainment universe:

  • Breakout – Story-driven escape rooms that started it all
  • Hauntu – Malaysia’s first immersive horror theatre
  • Spy Game & Spy Game Junior – Action-packed missions for thrill seekers and families alike

And it’s not slowing down. Coming up in 2026:

  • A Spy Game Junior and four new Breakout rooms in Canada
  • A brand-new flagship Spy Game Junior in Kuala Lumpur

With operations spanning Asia, North America, and the Middle East, Superdough continues to fly the Malaysian flag high as a leader in immersive entertainment.
