Tai Sun Drops A New Nut Range & Teams Up With Cocoraw For A Chocolatey Malaysian Mashup

Tai Sun, one of Malaysia’s most trusted homegrown snack brands, is levelling up the local snacking scene with its bold new nut range: Chilli Peanut Crackers, Samba Mix, Deluxe Mix and Satay Broad Beans.

With nearly 60 years of snack-making heritage, Tai Sun continues to deliver joy, creativity and Malaysian flavour to consumers. The new launch also kicks off the brand’s latest campaign, “Nuts For Every Vibe. For Real.” a playful take on how every mood has its perfect nut match.

Esther Loo, third-generation Tai Sun family member and Head of Sales & Marketing for Malaysia and Singapore, says the goal was simple:
“Snacking should be fun. With this new range, we wanted to give Malaysians more ways to enjoy nuts whether they’re catching up with friends, on the go, or just craving a flavour-packed pick-me-up.”

Where Craft Meets Crunch

Made from premium nuts and legumes, each pack delivers a uniquely Malaysian flavour twist from the vibrant, spicy punch of the Samba Mix to the nostalgic crunch of Satay Broad Beans.

The new packaging gets a full glow-up too: vibrant colours, resealable freshness and a sleek, modern look that fits right into today’s busy lifestyle. Gym bag, office desk, weekend road trip it’s snacking, but make it stylish.

A Celebration of Creativity & Collaboration

To mark the launch, Tai Sun teamed up with artisanal chocolatier Cocoraw for an exclusive Chocolate Workshop at Kedai Coklat, exploring how nuts can go beyond snacking into chocolate infusions, dessert toppings and festive recipes.

Esther adds,
“Snacking today is a way we connect and express ourselves  that’s the spirit behind Nuts For Every Vibe. For Real.”

Cocoraw co-founder and chocolatier Lee See Pin echoes the synergy:
“Tai Sun’s bold, authentic flavours pair beautifully with handcrafted chocolate. This collaboration celebrates Malaysian taste in a new, exciting way.”
