Hock Kee Kopitiam Ignites Creative Spirits Among The Youths: Creativity Comes in Unity

A Malaysian F&B brand rooted in authentic Nanyang flavours, Hock Kee Kopitiam, is inviting families to strengthen their connection with the community through a nationwide Children’s Colouring & Drawing Contest.

This initiative aims to inspire young, creative customers aged 4 to 12, encouraging family engagement and making positive impacts by supporting NASOM (National Autism Society of Malaysia).

Each artwork is available for purchase, with all contributions from customers channelled towards supporting children with autism. Through this effort, Hock Kee hopes to deepen its bond with the community while nurturing creativity and compassion this New Year season.

From now to 31 December 2025, contestants may redeem the colouring and drawing sheet at any Hock Kee Kopitiam outlet and submit as many entries as they wish.

All final artworks must be submitted at any Hock Kee outlet. Both winning and non-winning artworks will be exhibited across 15 Hock Kee outlets spanning:

  • Klang Valley
  • Johor Bahru
  • Ipoh

From March 2026 to May 2026, allowing customers to appreciate the creativity of every young participant.

The mission of Hock Kee is not only to preserve authentic Nanyang cuisine but also to share the warmth and goodwill of the community. We firmly believe that a business should give back to society. That’s why we’re organising this children’s colouring and drawing contest to celebrate their innocence and creativity, and we’re committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from the charity sale of their artworks to NASOM. It’s our small way of spreading kindness and supporting families who need it.

Said Nick Ng, Founder of Hock Kee Kopitiam.

Beyond celebrating young creativity, the initiative transforms art into meaningful action.

Customers who purchase the artworks directly support NASOM’s programmes and provide vital resources and care. Through this support, the creativity of one child helps secure a brighter future for another.

Julian Wong, Chairman of The National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) shared,

We are grateful for the solidarity shown by Hock Kee Kopitiam and the customers. With 100% of proceeds going to NASOM, this initiative directly funds meaningful programs for children with autism. We hope this collaboration inspires further advocacy and community involvement for special needs.
