Sam Edelman Takes Its Next Step with a new Counter-space at SEIBU TRX

American footwear brand Sam Edelman has strengthened its presence in Malaysia by opening its first in-store counter at SEIBU, The Exchange TRX.

This marks a strategic step in the brand’s ongoing expansion in the local market.

Located in Kuala Lumpur’s city centre, the new space positions Sam Edelman in one of the capital’s most prominent retail destinations. It offers increased visibility to urban, style-conscious shoppers.

The counter space marks Sam Edelman’s fourth retail presence in Malaysia.

It follows the official opening of the brand’s first standalone boutique at The Gardens Mall last year.

Its placement within SEIBU at The Exchange TRX highlights the brand’s focus on premium, high-traffic retail environments. This aligns with Sam Edelman’s positioning as a modern, refined, and accessible luxury brand.

Situated within SEIBU’s flagship store, the Sam Edelman space is designed as a curated retail destination. It offers a focused selection of the brand’s seasonal collections.

The space features sleek lines, warm tones, and subtle gold accents, reflecting Sam Edelman’s signature balance of polish and approachability. This design allows shoppers to experience the brand in a refined yet welcoming setting.

“Our presence at SEIBU, The Exchange TRX is part of a broader strategy to grow Sam Edelman thoughtfully across Malaysia,” said Teressa Lee, Head Marketing of Sam Edelman.

“Located in Kuala Lumpur’s city-centre, within a premium department store, the in-store space allows us to connect with a more urban, style-driven audience at a different moment in their shopping journey, while complementing our standalone boutiques through a more curated and accessible brand experience.”

The space showcases Sam Edelman’s core silhouettes, including the Bay Slides, Hazel Pumps, Michaela Flats, and Loraine Loafers.

These enduring styles embody the brand’s design ethos of versatility, everyday wearability, and timeless appeal. They continue to remain central to Sam Edelman’s global identity.

The featured styles are also available at Sam Edelman’s standalone boutique, alongside its in-store space at SEIBU, The Exchange TRX.

As part of Sam Edelman’s ongoing retail offering, the Sam Edelman in-store space at SEIBU, The Exchange TRX will feature in-store promotions, including two pairs at 18% off, and three or more pairs at 28% off.

The introduction of the SEIBU TRX in-store space reflects Sam Edelman’s continued growth in Malaysia, complementing its standalone boutiques while extending the brand’s reach through premium multi-brand retail environments.

As the brand expands thoughtfully across key locations, it remains focused on delivering timeless design and modern sophistication to Malaysian consumers.
